Colorado National Guard Armory

314 E Mountain Ave

This building, although somewhat altered, is significant in its association with both the Colorado National Guard and Company F. This building was constructed as an armory that housed Company F, provided drill space for its members, and served as a public hall for Fort Collins citizens. The architect was local; Arthur Garbutt, a protege of Montezuma Fuller. It is a fine example of early 20th century armory construction in Colorado, as reflected by the crenelated roofline, brick walls and decoratice brickwork, and round arched entrance with keystone, all creating a fortress-like appearance.

The building is currently home to several offices.
